Curriculum Standards & Best Practice


 American Experience, College Preparatory English 11 and Honors English 11 have been designed to reflect the best-practice methods (as defined by the National Council of Teachers of English), the national standards, state frameworks and local benchmarks as well as the literacy initiative of the Londonderry School District.

National Standards- The twelve standards of the  National Council of Teachers of English.

NCTE's Position on the Teaching of English: Assumptions and Practices - "Best Practice" as defined by the National Council of Teachers of English. 

State Standards- The New Hampshire Curriculum Frameworks for Language Arts.

Local Standards- Grades K- 12 benchmarks for the Londonderry School District.
