Understanding Date Assigned/Date Due in X2

Date Assigned/Date Due- For any given assignment, the date assigned and date due refer to to the beginning/ending dates for a specific weekly syllabus. See "weekly syllabus" and "term archive of weekly syllabi " for detailed assignment information, links to grading criteria and more.

Anomalies  for dates:

  • Vocab. Logs: Grade reflects current average in ongoing/term-long assignment. The beginning date for a term vocab log is the first date of the term. The end date for a term vocab. log is the end of the term.

  • Formal Papers:

    • Paper Final Draft Completed - This simply indicates that the writing process was completed and the final draft was turned in successfully.

    • Final Score Following Revisions -The date assigned refers to the date when the revision process began. The date due refers to when the revision process was completed.  These grades will fluctuate as the student completes revisions and improves his/her grade

  • Term Workshop Grade: The date assigned/date due for this cumulative grade is the last date of a term.

  • Extra Credit Enrichment: The date assigned/date due for this is the last date of a term.
