Revisions of Multi-Genre Papers

You Must Follow Each One of These Steps to Have Your Revision Accepted.

Step # 1   Carefully read through comments and traits rubric score with the hard copy of your multi-genre paper in hand.

Keep in mind that Mrs. Juster's job is to respond to your paper as a reader. She is not your editor. When she identifies an error in conventions or any other trait, it is your job to look beyond the sticky notes comments for similar errors throughout the paper and fix every one.

Step # 2 Begin work on your revision.

You need only change the genre pieces that need revision. When you revise a genre, be very careful to save each one as a unique file with a unique name. Careless saving will result in lost work.

Step # 3   Meet with Mrs. Juster for an individual writer's conference. (There will be some class time set aside for this but you may need to stay after school for a conference.) You must have this 1:1 conference in order to receive a new score.

Mrs. Juster will re-score your revision at this conference.

Note: You will have only one opportunity to revise this paper.
