School-Wide Rubrics


The school-wide rubrics were developed by the faculty of Londonderry High School to measure student achievement as it relates to the school's mission statement.

I have specialized these school-wide rubrics to address the standards areas and learning activities for the following:

Standards Area of  Writing

  • Writing Workshop  
  • Research Expedition Workshop  

Standards Area of  Listening/Speaking/Viewing

  • Academic Discourse  
  • Online Discussion Boards   
  • Viewing Journal/Viewer's Reflection/Viewer's Responses   
  • Nature Journal Entries  

At the end of  every, I will assess your performance as a self-directed learner (SDL) and give you a score of "Exceeds" or "Meets" or "Does Not Meet" using the rubric below. This score doesn't have a point value but it appears on your official report card and will become part of your academic record for this course.
