How to: Turn-It-In


When you are ready to submit something to your digital portfolio at www.turnitin.com ,be sure to do the following:

  •  name your document precisely (include your name in the title)

  • save your document with the "rich text format"  (.rtf) file extension

 

What’s a file extension? Every file is followed by a “dot” something. For example, MS Word documents are followed by a “.docx”.  If a document doesn’t have a compatible file extension, you won’t be able to open it. You can solve this problem by making sure that every file you save is an “.rtf”.
