Words in Context

To add "Words in Context" to your vocabulary log, complete the following steps as you read a literary work:

Step 1: To download a "words in context" vocab. log entry, click here and then save it to your computer ( your "Z" at school or your desktop at home).

Step 2: Identify words that are challenging and/or relatively unfamiliar to you in the literary work you are reading. (Your reader's response is a great place to look for terms.)

Step 3: Add five of these words to your vocab. log and then fill out the log as indicated in the example below.

Step 4: Once you have completed this log entry, upload and add these slides to your existing vocab. log at your Google Apps account.
