Welcome to Junior Year

In-Class:

  • Complete “Dear Mrs. Juster” letter. What’s that? Let me explain. What’s most important to me right now is that I get to know each of you as a learner and a person. This will help me shape our lessons and our time together to best fit you and your needs.
  • To accomplish this goal, I want you to write me, Mrs. Juster, a letter. Log-on to your LondonderryApps Google Drive and look in the “Shared with Me” section to access this assignment. Begin your letter with today’s date and the words “Dear Mrs. Juster”. End the letter with “Sincerely” and your name. What goes in the middle? Here’s what I want to discover when I read your letter:
    • Who are you?
    • What would you like me to call you (such as a nickname)?
    • What do you like to do when you’re not in school?
    • What do you want to know about me?
    • What do you want to know about the course?
  • Complete mini-poster response to John Kiernan’s assertion: “I am a part of all I have read”. (Follow in-class directions).
